ELIZABETHTOWN, Kentucky, April 29, 2024
The Fleck Law Firm has awarded a $1,000 scholarship to Stella Fox, a senior at Elizabethtown High School. The scholarship is a recurring annual scholarship designed to support high school seniors who have expressed an interest in pursuing a career in the legal field. To apply, students must write an essay or create a video or infographic that discusses why they want to pursue a career in the legal field. They must also submit a letter of recommendation which is due by April 15, each year. The funds are paid directly to the College or vocational school that the student is going to attend, so proof of enrollment is also a requirement.
Ms. Stella Fox is an Elizabethtown High School varsity swimmer and is part of the
Elizabethtown Dolphins USA Swimming club as a member of the State Team. She was recently
selected as one of only 25 students in the State of Kentucky to participate as a scholar for the
Senator Mitch McConnell Young Leaders Academy. She was selected in the summer of 2023 as a Kentucky Governors Scholar. Ms. Fox currently interns for the Honorable Shane Young, who is the Hardin County Commonwealth Attorney. She is a member of the Kentucky Youth
Assembly and a past member of the KHSAA Student Athlete Leadership Council. Ms. Fox is
interested in pursuing a career in the legal field. She plans to attend Samford University in
Alabama upon her graduation from Elizabethtown High School.
